We believe that great products paired with great human relationships can create a powerful engine. That's why Sales at Resend is an ever-evolving concept.

Our role goes beyond sending quotes and signing contracts. We make connections, act as genuine partners, and are motivated by the success of our customers.

Building our own playbook

It's always nice to learn from others and tap into our past experiences.

But we're not here to copy others, we are here to create something unique.

We are not tied to previous definitions of what sales is, we are here to define our own.

The vision for this team

Things we want to be great at:

  • Speed - we respect the customer's time and move as fast as possible.
  • Honesty - we want to be transparent and open about how we charge and operate.
  • Product expertise - we are power users of Resend, otherwise there's no credibility.

Things we want to avoid:

  • Friction - we want to remove unnecessary steps and get to the point quickly.
  • Complexity - we don't present hidden clauses that are hard to understand.
  • Sales jargon - we want to use plain language and be direct.

Evolving the engine

We take what exists, pressure-test it, expand it, and create our own way of doing things.

Whatever our current state is, we want to challenge it and improve it.

Questions we ask ourselves:

  • Is the sales funnel efficient? Cool, how can we improve it?
  • Is lead scoring accurate? Okay, how can we get better at it?
  • Are we documenting our learnings? Nice, how can we share that knowledge more?
